"The units of the Southern and Western military districts that have completed the tasks have already started loading on rail and road transport and will start moving to their military garrisons today," the official assured."

"For her part, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that on February 15, 2022, "it will go down in history as a day of failure of Western propaganda for war."

"They are ashamed and destroyed without a single shot," Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel, saying that the Western media "set a date for Russia's invasion of Ukraine."

"To note that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected to visit Moscow on February 15 to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The media called the visit "a mission with high stakes in preventing war."

Earlier, the politician said that he would try to convey to the Kremlin the diplomatic intentions of the West and readiness to continue the dialogue and discuss security issues. Otherwise, Scholz warned that Russia's aggression against Ukraine would be "very expensive".

Is there a threat of invasion

"Shortly after the Russian Defence Ministry announced the return of Russian troops to the permanent garrisons, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that "Ukraine and the West have prevented Russian escalation."

But his British counterpart Liz Truss stressed that "an invasion may be inevitable, and it is very likely," reports La Repubblica.

"What we are doing is following the path of restraint and diplomacy, urging Vladimir Putin to retreat from the abyss," she said of tensions on the border between Ukraine and Russia.

There is no reason to panic.

Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov called to pay attention to information and not panic over a possible Russian invasion. According to him, the Kremlin's information war against our country is now in full swing.

Panic over a possible full-scale attack by Russian troops on Ukraine has reached a critical level in recent days. US President Joe Biden held an urgent meeting with NATO and EU leaders. Several states called on their citizens to leave Ukrainian territory as soon as possible.

Moreover, against the background of rumours, foreign publications even began to call the date of the offensive, and the Russians - to spread fakes about the "beginning of hostilities. "Read in the article about what is really happening and whether Ukrainians should panic.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson held talks amid the risk of Russian aggression against Ukraine. Politicians have said that a "decisive window" for diplomacy remains, despite allegations of an imminent invasion".

According to the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty channel.

"When asked about their readiness to participate in a possible Russian military campaign against Ukraine, some Moscow residents said on January 24 that it would be their duty to take part while others questioned the logic of an attack against "brother Ukrainians." (RFE/RL's Russian Service)."
